CFBP presents public policy and Christian values in a new certification course

The Center for Faith-Based Policy (CFBP) announced its launch event titled “Christian values and public policy”; “Writing draft laws and legislative proposals” course as part of the new certification course.

The intensive program will equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to translate Christian principles into actionable legislative proposals, supporting positive change in Nigerian society, inspired by Proverbs 14:34 – “Justice exalts a nation…”

CFBP stressed that it believes in the power of faith to shape a flourishing Nigeria that reflects God’s values, adding that through this comprehensive training program, participants will gain the tools needed to incorporate Christian principles into legislative processes, enabling them to work effectively for a better future.

Taught by distinguished faculty including experienced lawmakers, policy analysts, and religious leaders, the course will be held over two weekends (July 5-7 and 12-14, 2024) in a hybrid format (virtual and in-person).

“The Policy Righters Writing Course offers a comprehensive curriculum. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of key Christian concepts relevant to public policy, learn how to integrate biblical principles into legislative proposals, and master basic advocacy and lobbying strategies.

“The program goes beyond mere instructions. It creates a supportive community where participants can collaborate and share their passion for integrating faith into the political landscape.

“Upon completion, participants receive a certificate of completion and become CFBP Associates, gaining access to ongoing learning and networking opportunities.

“If you are a Christian, do not miss the opportunity to shape Nigeria’s future by using your faith as a catalyst,” CFBP said, adding that registration for the course closes on July 2, 2024.
