City of Sydney clarifies fireworks regulations – PANHANDLE

1. The use of fireworks ends at 1:00 a.m. July. 5. Permitted fireworks may only be lit during this period from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. up to and including 3 July, and from 8:00 a.m. on 4 July to 1:00 a.m. on the day of July. 5.

2. Begins at 5:00 p.m. on December 31 and ends at 1:00 a.m. on January 1, with this eight-hour period permitted each year.

3. On other dates that may be set after obtaining a special permit, which may be issued after approval by the City Manager upon application.

There are five fireworks retailers in Sydney.
