PwC welcomes 13 new partners in Singapore

For immediate release – Singapore July 1, 2024: PwC is pleased to announce the addition of 13 new Singapore-based partners, the largest group the firm has seen in the last five years. The appointment of these exceptional individuals reflects PwC’s efforts to redouble its efforts to grow the multidisciplinary solutions community. It also underlines the Singaporean company’s commitment to welcoming ten new partners each year as the company expands its capabilities.

Bringing their unique technical and leadership skills, as well as extensive experience, to the company, the new partners have a broad range of competencies that directly address the needs of today’s enterprises – from management, risk and control, to HR transformation, asset and wealth management, capital markets, strategy and operations, global structuring and much more.

Andrew specializes in risk in financial services, with a particular focus on the banking, capital markets and asset and wealth management (AWM) sectors. He works closely with clients to assist them with governance, risk management, internal control and internal audit.

SAP Alliance, Southeast Asia Consulting

Shann specializes in leading SAP digital transformation initiatives, leveraging technology to address industry-specific challenges and streamline business operations. She provides consulting, solutions, and technology implementations to clients across a variety of industries, including Real Estate & Hospitality, Higher Education, Shipping, Aerospace & Defense, Offshore Marine, and Healthcare.

Providing financial services

With extensive experience in auditing and consulting in the AWM sector, as well as in banking and capital markets, Christina specializes in AWM audits with a focus on private markets (in particular infrastructure fund audits) and leads the AWM ESG services offering at PwC Singapore .

Strategy & Operations, Consulting Southeast Asia

David specializes in helping companies solve their procurement challenges across a variety of industries. He focuses on optimizing clients’ procurement functions, including strategic sourcing, team empowerment, technology selection, and implementation.

With a strong audit background, Jerry specializes in advising on U.S. Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), internal controls, financial reporting, and auditing, with a particular focus on the technology industry.

Specializing in global tax advisory, Lian Cheng works closely with her clients to assist them in areas from international tax structuring to comprehensive tax compliance in Singapore. A trained tax consultant in Singapore, Lian Cheng is well-versed in foreign tax regulations and advises companies in the Transportation & Logistics (T&L) and Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) sectors as they expand into the Asia-Pacific region.

Financial Services Insurance

Shu Ning specializes in audit services for clients in the financial services industry (including financial reporting, auditing and consulting), with a particular focus on the banking, capital markets and insurance sectors. She is well-versed in risk and governance around disruptive technologies and has extensive experience in helping fintech companies and startups advance their business and growth strategies.

Workforce transformation, consulting in Southeast Asia

Satu specializes in helping organizations across industries implement complex, strategic change and realize workforce transformation outcomes. It also helps its clients align large-scale technology and cloud investments with organizational outcomes through change management and digital adoption strategies, and helps integrate emerging technologies (such as GenAI) in ways to optimize costs and increase productivity.

Salesforce Alliance, Southeast Asia Consulting

Shuchi specializes in large-scale front office transformations powered by Salesforce, helping clients transform and execute their marketing, sales and service strategies. It focuses on government and public services (including education and health), financial services, and the retail and consumer industries.

Si Ying is an international tax advisor with extensive experience in helping companies reorganize their businesses throughout the pre- and post-transaction stages. She is also a subject matter specialist for Singapore stamp duty related to corporate restructuring and R&D tax claims where, among other things, intellectual property takes place in Singapore.

Xiu Ming specializes in assurance and financial reporting, and has extensive experience working on large global audits for both listed and privately held companies. Focusing primarily on the real estate and hospitality industries, he also has experience in a variety of industries including engineering and construction, retail, trade, and technology operations.

Tomas has worked with some of the largest companies in technology, automotive, industrial manufacturing and consumer products, helping them with transfer pricing and advising on intellectual property and master structure, value chain assessments and dispute resolution strategies.

Specializing in transfer pricing and tax, Vaibhav advises major multinationals in the healthcare, semiconductor and consumer goods sectors. His primary goal is to create value in strategic M&A transactions – pre- and post-deal – by aligning transfer pricing and tax outcomes with transformational operating models.
