Nakagawa Ciao Shopping Center, a unique shopping destination opened in 1990 by the village of Nakagawa, JA and the local cooperative, is undergoing significant changes. As the village’s only shopping destination, offering everything from everyday essentials to home-made coffee and fashionable clothes, a constant, stable electricity supply has become a key cornerstone for the center.

As reported by THE21 magazine, rising energy prices, especially electricity costs, have become a key concern for Japan in 2024. As a major energy consumer, Nakagawa Ciao Shopping Center has installed 122 kW Hi-MO X6 modules on its roof, expecting an annual electricity production of 15,9981 kWh and a reduction of CO₂ emissions of approximately 1,807 tons. It not only provides freedom from electricity, but also contributes to environmental protection – a perfect combination with the beautiful nature of the village.
