Participants were given three topics in advance for the final round, from which they chose one to develop a product solution. Their presentations were assessed by a panel of respected LONGi judges, who also administered quick quizzes to test participants’ knowledge. The final results were a composite of quality presentations and quick responses.

After intense competition, three outstanding speakers emerged as the winners. Two of them set off on an exciting journey to China on June 12. Their week-long journey included visits to four significant cities:

  • Shanghai – where they attended the prestigious SNEC event where they were able to see the latest innovations in solar energy.
  • Jiaxing – home to the LONGi lighthouse factory, a reference point in advanced manufacturing technology.
  • Xi’an – home to LONGi’s global headquarters, offering a closer insight into the company’s strategic operations.
  • Foping – famous for its panda database, where LONGi adopted a panda named Hi-MO.

This tour provided winners with an invaluable opportunity to experience first-hand the cutting-edge technologies and sustainable practices that underpin LONGi’s leadership in the solar industry. The #WhyLONGi competition not only showcased the talent and expertise of professionals across the MENA region, but also reinforced LONGi’s commitment to promoting innovation and excellence in the renewable energy sector. In addition to introducing participants to LONGi products, the competition aimed to empower them in their future business ventures and sales activities, equipping them with the knowledge and confidence to succeed.
