Flamingos fall victim to pufferfish

LEXINGTON, S.C. – A nine-inning second inning on Saturday gave Lexington County a 14-4 victory over Florence in seven innings.

The Flamingos are 17-12 overall and 2-3 in the second half of the Coastal Plain League season. They return to action Tuesday at Macon, then travel to Wilmington on Wednesday before returning to Carolina Bank Field on Thursday to face Asheboro.

Nick Castellana had two RBIs for Florence, and Ty Dooley also had an RBI.
