Eid Al Adha holidays announced for government and private sector – News

Dubai: According to a circular issued on Thursday by Hussein Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Minister of Education and Director General of the Federal Human Resources Authority, the Eid Al-Adha holidays for employees of ministries and departments of the federal government will be from Friday, October 3, 2014 to Monday, October 6, 2014.

Work for all ministries and departments will resume on Tuesday, October 7.

According to a circular issued by Saqr Ghobash Saeed Ghobash, Minister of Labor, the Eid Al-Adha holiday for private sector employees will last from Friday, October 3, 2014 to Sunday, October 5, 2014, and work will resume on Monday, October 6.

Al Hammadi and Ghobash welcomed the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; and Their Highnesses, members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the emirates, as well as citizens of the UAE and Arab and Islamic countries.
