Military vehicle drives over explosive device in Tulkarm

A military vehicle struck an explosive device at the Nur Shams camp in the Palestinian city of Tulkarm in the West Bank, Israeli Military Radio reported on Monday morning, citing Palestinian reports.

The incident occurred during Israeli military operations in the area, during which the soldiers became the target of subsequent attacks with explosives.

The Ramallah-based Palestinian Health Ministry later said a “child” and a woman were killed.

Four more people were reportedly injured by Israeli shelling.

The ministry did not provide information on the age of the child or whether those killed or injured were involved in attacks on Israeli personnel operating in the area.
