Former CEO and Founder of Zenith Hygiene Joins OCS

Ringo Francis, founder and former CEO of Zenith Hygiene Group Plc, has joined global facilities services group OCS as a non-executive director, with immediate effect.

Francis brings a wealth of experience in the cleaning and hygiene industry, having led Zenith Hygiene Group from its inception in 1996 until its sale to Bain Capital in April 2018. Under his leadership, the business grew from annual revenues in excess of £1m in its first year to around £100m through organic growth and strategic acquisitions. He successfully led the consolidation of the UK hygiene market and oversaw the acquisition of 10 companies, significantly expanding the business to employ over 500 people across 10 warehouses.

Francis’ 30 years of experience have earned him a huge reputation across the UK and Ireland. His industry accolades include PWC CEO of the Year for the South East in 2016 and Grant Thornton top 200 Hertfordshire company for Zenith Hygiene Group Plc in the same year. He was also named one of the Chancellor’s 1,000 Companies Inspiring Britain. He is currently a non-executive director and investor in ClenzAir & CEH Technology and is also a director and trustee of Hospitality Action. His leadership has consistently driven significant operational improvements and strategic growth within these organisations.
