voco Jim Corbett, the first voco hotel in India launched by IHG Hotels & Resorts, has announced key management appointments across its verticals.

Suprabhath Roy Chowdhury, CEO: With an illustrious career spanning 24 years, he has excelled in various management positions in prestigious hotel chains in India. His rich experience also includes the position of General Manager at Holiday Inn Mayur Vihar, New Delhi.

In his current role at voco Jim Corbett, Roy Chowdhury will lead the positioning and operational excellence of voco IHG Hotels & Resorts’ first property in India. His leadership will be instrumental in establishing voco Jim Corbett as a leading destination with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences, innovative service standards and sustainable practices.

Raghvendra Pratap Singh, Sales Director: Singh has 18 years of diverse experience in the hospitality industry, with a background in hotel sales. He started his journey with the IHG family 4.5 years ago and worked at Holiday Inn Gurugram from 2020 to 2024, before taking up his latest role at voco Jim Corbett.

His skills and competencies include leadership, strategic sales, business development, MICE and wedding sales, customer relationship management and new customer acquisition.

Tenzin Losel, Chef: As the opening chef of voco Jim Corbett, Losel brings 24 years of culinary experience. Throughout his career, he has played a key role in overseeing kitchen operations, designing menus, training staff and ensuring customer satisfaction.

His expertise spans a wide range of cuisines, from traditional Indian cuisine to international flavours. Committed to quality and hygiene, he is well-versed in HACCP and ISO 22000 standards and prioritises achieving engaging culinary experiences through collaborative efforts.

Girish Mamgain, Operations Manager: Mamgain is a seasoned hospitality professional with 24 years of experience, currently serving as Operations Manager at voco Jim Corbett. His illustrious career includes a notable stint as Executive Chef and Sous Chef at prestigious establishments and later as General Manager at Corbett Aamod Resort & Spa. He has a dynamic skill set, excelling in project management, hotel openings and team leadership.

In addition, Mamgain is well-versed in business, finance, and data analysis, making him a versatile and results-oriented professional in the hospitality industry. His dedication and diverse experience underscore his commitment to excellence in hospitality management and guest satisfaction.

Ahmed Faisal, Deputy Food and Beverage Manager: Faisal has 18 years of inspiring experience in the hospitality industry, over 12 of which have been with IHG. He started as an F&B Executive at IHG in 2005 and worked as a Restaurant Manager at IHG from 2015 to 2019 before joining voco Jim Corbett as an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager.

A results-oriented professional, Faisal is known for thoughtful improvements that elevate the guest experience. He has the skills to drive business growth through strategic partnerships, financial planning and effective leadership to achieve organizational goals and profitability. At voco, Jim Corbett strives to achieve service excellence and profitability within the food service function.

Surender Singh, Front Desk Manager: Singh has 13 years of experience in the hospitality industry and 5.5 years of experience at IHG. He is adept at leading and developing teams to achieve high performance, compliance and exceptional guest service standards.

Skilled in enhancing guest experiences, optimizing revenue, and driving operational excellence, he has served as a front office manager, overseeing operating budgets, conducting late-night audits, and preparing financial reports.
