NEW DELHI: Shares of consumer discretionary stocks were trading higher at 10:19 am on Friday, with top gainers including LT Foods Ltd. (up 3.98%), Nakoda Group Of Industries Ltd. (up 2.11%), ADF Foods Ltd. (up 1.97%), Hindustan Foods Ltd. (up 1.81%), Adani Wilmar Ltd. (up 1.74%), Bikaji Foods International Ltd. (up 1.55%), Colgate-Palmolive(India) Ltd. (up 1.13%), Tasty Bite Eatables Ltd. (up 0.72%), Tata Consumer Products Ltd. (up 0.66%) and Umang Dairies Ltd. (up 0.51%).

Top losers included Jyothy Labs Ltd. (down 1.82%), Euro India Fresh Foods Ltd. (down 1.15%), Heritage Foods Ltd. (down 0.84%), Vadilal Industries Ltd. (down 0.75%), Parag Milk Foods Ltd. (down 0.70%), Zydus Wellness Ltd. (down 0.68%), JHS Svendgaard Laboratories Ltd. (down 0.62%), Marico Ltd. (down 0.56%), Prataap Snacks Ltd. (down 0.53%) and Bajaj Consumer Care Ltd. (down 0.50%).

The NSE Nifty50 index was up 61.35 points at 24,377.3, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 124.24 points at 80,021.58 around 10:19 am.

Wipro Ltd. (up 3.49%), Shriram Finance Ltd. (up 3.48%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (up 2.89%), LTIMindtree Ltd. (up 2.18%), Axis Bank Ltd. (up 1.94%), Infosys Ltd. (up 1.85%), Tech Mahindra Ltd. (up 1.43%), Coal India Ltd. (up 1.24%), Hero MotoCorp Ltd. (up 1.01%) and Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (up 0.99%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, shares of Divi’s Laboratories Ltd. (down 1.45%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (down 1.07%), Asian Paints Ltd. (down 1.04%), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (down 0.88%), HDFC Bank Ltd. (down 0.56%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (down 0.55%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (down 0.54%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd. (down 0.48%), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd. (down 0.44%) and SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd. (down 0.42%) were trading in the red.
