Samuel Eto’o warns Cameroon faces suspension from FIFA

The president of the Cameroonian Football Federation (Fecafoot) has just sent a three-page message to the president of CCA.

On Tuesday, May 21, 2024, the Chamber of Conciliation and Arbitration (CCA) of the Cameroon National Olympic and Sports Committee decided to suspend the effects of the recent appointments made by the President of the Cameroon Football Association, Samuel Eto’o Fils, and his executive committee. In response, the Cameroonian Football Association (Fecafoot) released a statement.

“The Cameroonian Football Association (FECAFOOT) takes note of the Conciliation Failure Reports No. 049/CCA/PVNC/24 and No. 050/CCA/PVNC/24 of 21 May 2024, issued by the Chamber of Conciliation and Arbitration of the Chamber of the National Committee Cameroon Olympic and Sports Authority (CNOSC) on the appointment of the technical, administrative and medical staff of the Cameroon Unbroken Lions men’s national selection.

The direct consequence of these decisions, made in violation of all legal and regulatory provisions, is the immediate suspension of the Indomitable Lions staff, headed by Mr. Marc BRYS, head coach-selector,” reads the statement.
