Knoxville, Tennessee, May 22, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Priority OnDemand is pleased to announce the appointment of Brenda Staffan as its new Director of Government Affairs and Public Policy, effective immediately. With an expansive career spanning over three decades in the emergency medical services (EMS) and health policy sectors, Staffan brings a wealth of expertise and a solid track record of transformational leadership to this position.

Staffan joined Priority OnDemand following her most recent role as Principal at Staffan & Associates, LLC, where her work focused on developing effective legislative and regulatory strategies that support value-based care, improve reimbursement programs, and strengthen government regulation to improve patient outcomes.

Previously, Staffan served as Senior Advisor for the Emergency Triage, Treatment, and Transport (ET3) model at the federal Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation, where she played a key role in implementing this innovative health care delivery model aimed at improving the quality of health care. care and reduce unnecessary hospital transports. Her extensive experience also includes leadership roles at the Regional Emergency Medical Services Authority (REMSA) and the California Emergency Medical Services Association, where she led significant development and strategic initiatives. Staffan also led legislative and policy strategies as director of federal government affairs for rural/metro enterprises.
