Lenovo supercharges next-generation PCs equipped with Copilot+ technology

Technology giant Lenovo unveiled new laptops: the Yoga Slim 7x and ThinkPad T14s Gen 6, which are the company’s first next-generation Copilot+ computers equipped with the Snapdragon X Elite processor. These laptops aim to increase productivity, creativity and security through intelligent, software-driven local task processing.

Yoga Slim 7x and ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 expand Lenovo’s lineup of AI-enabled devices. Both laptops are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processor, which includes a 12-core Qualcomm Oryon processor, Qualcomm Adreno GPU, and a dedicated Qualcomm Hexagon NPU neural processing unit.

This configuration enables laptops to perform up to 45 trillion operations per second (TOPS) and provides advanced AI processing capabilities of the NPU. With the latest Microsoft enhancements and Copilot+ integration, users can access the power of the Large Language Model (LLM) even offline, ensuring seamless productivity and creativity.

The new laptops leverage generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) and machine learning (ML) through Copilot+ to help users edit text, create visuals and streamline productivity-boosting tasks. Working offline with the same performance as online, the Yoga Slim 7x and ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 set new standards in AI-powered PC innovation.

The AI-powered Yoga Slim 7x is designed with creators in mind, with features such as text-to-image, advanced photo and video editing, and text creation feedback via the Hexagon NPU on the Snapdragon X Elite processor. The device boasts multi-day 70Wh battery life, improved camera and call quality, lossless high-resolution audio, 4K streaming, faster internet connectivity and enhanced security. Lenovo AI Core works with the Snapdragon processor to dynamically adjust power and performance.

Weighing just 2.82 pounds (1.28 kg) and as thin as 0.50” (12.9 mm), the Yoga Slim 7x features a 14.5-inch 16:10 3K 90 Hz OLED touch panel with 100% support sRGB and P3 color gamut, TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light support and FHD MIPI IR webcam. Audio is amplified by the Lenovo Premium Suite’s four-speaker system, and the device is equipped with a keyboard with 1.5 mm key travel and Yoga anti-oil coating.

Yoga Slim 7x is also environmentally friendly, thanks to packaging made of FSC-certified paper and other materials and an included system bag made of bamboo fiber. Lenovo offers a CO2 Offset Service that helps offset a device’s carbon dioxide emissions throughout its lifecycle.

ThinkPad T14s Gen 6

The ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 is Lenovo’s first next-generation Copilot+ commercial PC, powered by the Snapdragon X Elite processor with integrated Adreno GPU and AI engine. The laptop is designed to enhance your productivity and creativity with 45 TOPS NPU, Copilot+ integration, and fast LPDDR5x memory with up to 64GB capacity. It has a sleek 14-inch body, FHD+IR MIPI camera, Wi-Fi 7 and optional 5G connectivity, and a 58Wh battery for multi-day use.

Lenovo, Qualcomm Technologies and Microsoft have optimized over 100 enterprise applications for Windows devices powered by the Snapdragon processor, focusing on areas such as device management, collaboration, productivity and security. ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 comes with ThinkShield security features, SentinelOne ransomware protection, and AI-based threat detection.

ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 leverages Lenovo’s expertise in ARM-based enterprise laptops and offers scalable security features and deployment services through Lenovo TruScale, enabling IT administrators to efficiently manage next-generation AI computing devices.
