Cetta expands into new sectors by acquiring shares in EAS.ai, Latest Tech News

In a key strategic move, Indonesian IT solutions and software provider Cetta (PT Cetta Trans Digital) has announced that it will acquire part of Singapore-based AI startup EAS.ai (EAS.ai Pte Ltd).

Cetta is a subsidiary of ACSI Corp, the Indonesian group of companies that developed the Life Essential technology. It is best known for software support for its sister company Trusur (PT Trusur Unggul Teknusa), Indonesia’s largest environmental technology solutions provider that focuses on air quality monitoring.

With over 11 years of involvement in environmental technologies, Cetta has earned an outstanding reputation for innovative air quality and emissions monitoring software solutions.

Its contributions include key software components and integration of solutions such as air quality monitoring systems (AQMS), continuous emission monitoring systems (CEMS) and other critical functions such as early warning systems (EWS).

The acquisition will strengthen Cetta’s environmental technology leadership in Indonesia by advancing its artificial intelligence technology capabilities, while opening new market opportunities such as military, aerospace and healthcare.

Deni Khanafiah, CEO of Cetta, said: “We are very excited to be working with the extraordinary team at EAS.ai. As an agnostic technology player, they have an extraordinary portfolio and capabilities.

“This significant step, marking our shared future, will be focused on business development, growth and expansion.”

Synergistic acquisition

EAS.ai is a local AI and 4.0 focused startup with an impressive portfolio in the military, aerospace and healthcare sectors.

The company specializes in artificial intelligence and data analytics, low-code and low-code platforms, and digital transformation initiatives.

EAS.ai’s various innovations include AI that scans and moderates content from social media platforms like YouTube to identify potential national security threats, real-time speech-to-text transcription, and AI-triggered notifications to improve air traffic communications and predictive analytics to identify potential health risks at an early stage and improve patient outcomes.

With a comprehensive range of core competencies, EAS.ai will significantly enhance Cetta’s offering by enabling higher-order capabilities such as predictive AI and preventive intervention.

For example, EAS.ai’s expertise in machine learning and data analytics will enable Cetta to develop more sophisticated air quality monitoring systems to more accurately predict pollution levels and initiate preventive actions.

EAS.ai’s experience in the military, aerospace and healthcare sectors also opens up new opportunities for Cetta, which has opted for an industry-agnostic approach to solution development.

David Siow, CEO and CFO of EAS.ai, said: “We are proud to join ACSI Corp under Cetta’s leadership and thank our new sister company Trusur for its pioneering role in the industry over the past decade.

“We are excited about the possibilities our future collaboration will bring.”

Future plans and the next big thing

Cetta’s acquisition of EAS.ai represents a significant milestone in the company’s journey towards its strategic goals.

As a result of technological innovation and market diversification, Cetta is well positioned to maintain its leading position in environmental technology and can deepen its expertise in intelligent IoT systems and artificial intelligence in environmental monitoring and other sectors.

Mr. M. Ade Kurniawan, CEO of ACSI Corp, said: “Our goal is to enhance ACSI Corp’s strong capabilities as a leading group of lifestyle technology companies and strengthen processes with a focus on long-term growth, while pursuing new opportunities in Indonesia and Asia Southeast.”

The move also underscores Cetta’s commitment to using technology to address environmental challenges, strengthening the company’s position as a forward-thinking leader.

Solutions for the future have already been developed and several promising projects are in the pipeline.

For example, Cetta is developing Fortech Greenhouse Gas software that facilitates the inventory of greenhouse gas emissions, which will provide even greater insight into emissions monitoring at the national level.

Another is Fortech City, an advanced air quality monitoring platform that provides real-time data and comprehensive pollution analysis to help cities effectively manage urban air quality and improve public health outcomes.

Ensuring sustainable results for the region

Cetta’s acquisition of EAS.ai marks a pivotal moment in the company’s evolution, ushering in a new AI-focused era for ACSI Corp.

This strategic move strengthens Cetta’s leadership in environmental technology and marks its entry into the military, aerospace and healthcare sectors.

With promising projects such as Fortech Greenhouse Gas and Fortech City, Cetta reaffirms its commitment to addressing environmental challenges and improving public health outcomes. The company is now ideally positioned to deliver more sophisticated and effective solutions and innovation in Southeast Asia.
