Title IX Compliance Briefing: Pregnancy Accommodations (Higher Education Roundtable)






The April release of the federal Title IX regulations came at the same time that the federal government published regulations under the Pregnant Worker Fairness Act (PWFA) and just after the passage of the Providing Urgent Materials Protection (PUMP) Act.

We will hold our third monthly compliance review on July 16, 2024, during which we will review the university’s obligations to accommodate students and staff during pregnancy. This briefing will consider Title IX responsibilities and how they are similar to or different from the university’s responsibilities under the PWFA, PUMP, and Massachusetts law.
