Users receive shipping confirmation for Find My Device trackers

Last month, Google finally launched Find My Device Network for Android, and it looks like manufacturers have started shipping supported trackers. It’s worth noting that the launch of the Find My Device network has been slow, but it’s finally here as Google rolled it out on a large scale this month, ensuring its availability in international markets as well.

Pebblebee and Chipolo are popular hardware makers that have promised to ship network-enabled trackers this month. They even announced that their trackers will start shipping on May 27th. However, now it seems that Pebblebee is leading the race in providing trackers.

Tracker manufacturer Find My Device has reportedly sent its customer shipping confirmation

According to a report today by 9to5Google, Pebblebee has even started sending its customers shipping confirmation for its Find My Device trackers. One of the publication’s readers shared an email confirming the Pebblebee Clip’s shipping notification. It’s worth noting that the confirmation email also details the clip’s USPS tracking number. It is worth noting that the shipment has not yet started.

Shipping confirmation from Pebblebee could mean some users will get their hands on the device before May 27. Apart from this, several users may be notified about the Clip’s USPS tracking number within a few days and the devices will be delivered on the said date. Chipolo, on the other hand, says early pre-orders will ship on May 27. However, tracker deliveries will likely take place in June.

Google waited a long time before finally launching its Find My Device network last month

The company first announced the network at its I/O developer conference last year. However, the company waited because it gave Apple enough time to implement tracking protection. Just over a week ago, Apple released iOS 17.5 with support for unwanted tacker alerts. Therefore, shipping confirmation from the makers of Find My Device-enabled trackers isn’t a big surprise. That said, it will be interesting to see what Android users generally think about the supported tracking devices.
