Enbridge launches capital program to finance acquisitions

Enbridge (TSE: ENB) has released an update.

Enbridge Inc. is to partially finance the acquisition of three U.S. natural gas companies under a newly announced public equity offering program that will enable the sale of up to $2.75 billion of common stock. This move offers Enbridge a diverse set of financing options and increases its financial flexibility. The company’s common stock will be sold directly to the public through major stock exchanges in Canada and the U.S., and prices will fluctuate throughout the distribution period.
