BBB Alert: Fraudulent online seller Wrenley & Brynn lists Kansas address

The Better Business Bureau of the Midwest Plains (BBB) has completed an investigation into Wrenley & Brynn, an online women’s clothing retailer that claims to operate in Olathe, Kansas. Within a month, the BBB received 23 complaints and 7 negative reviews about the company. Nearly 300 inquiries were submitted to Wrenley & Brynn’s BBB business profile, with consumer losses totaling several thousand dollars. Early Scam Tracker reports suggested possible fraudulent activity, prompting the BBB to advise affected consumers to file a complaint.

The fake website is still active, posing an ongoing risk to consumers.

The company says it operates from an address in Olathe, Kansas, listed on its website and Facebook page. However, the BBB has confirmed with the Johnson County, Kansas Assessor’s Office that this address is incorrect and is not associated with Wrenley & Brynn. Mail sent to this address was returned by USPS with the message “No such number.”

Wrenley & Brynn was first reported to the BBB in April 2024. Consumers claim that merchandise ordered from wrenleyandbrynn.com was either not delivered, was different from what was shown on the website, or was of inferior quality. Some consumers reported receiving products with a return address in China. The BBB has confirmed that the address listed on Wrenley & Brynn’s Facebook page is incorrect and the company’s actual location remains unknown.
