NEW DELHI: FMCG stocks were trading lower at 10:19 am on Thursday

Future Consumer Ltd. (up 4.35%), Vadilal Industries Ltd. (up 3.36%), Umang Dairies Ltd. (up 2.91%), Nakoda Group Of Industries Ltd. (up 2. 39%), Mrs. Bectors Food Specialties Ltd. (up 2.37%), Sheetal Cool Products Ltd. (up 1.70%), Tasty Bite Eatables Ltd. (up 1.65%), JHS Svendgaard Laboratories Ltd. (up 1.11%), Marico Ltd. (up 0.89%) and Bikaji Foods International Ltd. (up 0.86%) were among the companies that gained the most.

Parag Milk Foods Ltd. (down 2.74%), Prataap Snacks Ltd. (down 1.34%), Britannia Industries Ltd. (down 1.19%), Tata Consumer Products Ltd. (down 0, 93%), Procter & Gamble Hygiene & Healthcare Ltd. (down 0.80%), Honasa Consumer Ltd. (down 0.78%), ADF Foods Ltd. (down 0.67%), Zydus Wellness Ltd . (down 0.66%), Heritage Foods Ltd. (down 0.63%) and Dangee Dums Ltd. (down 0.60%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index rose 74.5 points to 22,672.3, while the 30-share BSE Sensex rose 251.07 points to 74,472.13 at around 10:19 am.

Axis Bank Ltd. (up 2.01%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (up 1.97%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (up 1.57%), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (up 1, 49%), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (up 1.34%), ICICI Bank Ltd. (up 1.32%), Eicher Motors Ltd. (up 1.26%), Shriram Finance Ltd. (up 1.24%), State Bank of India (up 1.22%) and Wipro Ltd. (up 1.24%) 1.03%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty set. In turn, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (down by 3.84%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (down by 3.31%), Hindalco Industries Ltd. (down by 1.46%), Grasim Industries Ltd. ( down 1.41%), JSW Steel Ltd. (down 1.03%), Britannia Industries Ltd. (down 0.94%), Tata Consumer Products Ltd. (down 0.84%), Coal India Ltd. (down 0.78%), NTPC Ltd. (down 0.43%) and Nestle India Ltd. (down 0.27%) were trading in the red.
