Productivity software; What a managed IT services provider can do for you; & “Hard Choices” – Boston Edition

Jared starts by taking a look at the biggest players in productivity software you should be using to, well, be more productive. However, no productivity suite is perfect. So get to know the strengths and weaknesses of each of them so that you can make the right choice.

In those days, lawyers often relied on IT services from a third-party technician who handled cases as needed, but this type of break/fix model was problematic if your technology strategy was purely reactive rather than proactive. Jared talks to Michael Doherty about what it’s like when lawyers engage with IT services through a managed services provider (MSP). Michael guides lawyers through the contemporary realities and ethics of using technology in their law firms and the potential for better results when working with MSPs.

Later – rump roast, of course! The guys play “Hard Choices”, where Jared creates difficult Boston-inspired scenarios and Michael must educate the masses on what a real Bostonian would do.

Let’s keep moving the Boston train. Next stop: some of Boston’s biggest music hits.
