SingPost and Qazpost enter into strategic partnership to develop e-commerce and logistics

SINGAPORE, May 23, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Singapore Post (SingPost), a leading postal logistics and e-commerce provider in Asia and the Pacificand Qazpost, the Republic’s national postal operator Kazakhstanannounced today a strategic cooperation agreement aimed at boosting e-commerce and logistics and strengthening development in both countries.

Strategic cooperation covers a number of areas, including:

  • Technological cooperation: Qazpost and SingPost will explore the use of SingPost machinery and equipment, including innovative e-commerce delivery systems, to improve customer experience and efficiency.
  • Improved logistics and e-commerce development: The agreement will facilitate the search for effective logistics routes between them Kazakhstan AND Singaporeleveraging both companies’ extensive networks to support the development of e-commerce in their countries and regions.
  • Sharing best practices: The partnership will facilitate the mutual exchange of best practices and create new opportunities for trade and economic growth.

“This strategic collaboration with SingPost is a significant step towards modernizing our business and expanding our capabilities to further improve our customers’ experiences. The agreement also includes provisions on knowledge exchange, training programs and the search for additional areas of cooperation in the future.

The agreement was one of the elements of high-level agreements exchanged between Kazakhstan and Kazakhstan Singapore – and was witnessed by the President of the Republic KazakhstanKassym-Jomart Tokayev and Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Economic Policy, SingaporeHeng His Keat.
