Accenture strengthens embedded software expertise with acquisition of Teamexpat

EINDHOVEN, Netherlands–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has acquired Teamexpat, a specialist in embedded software for complex, technologically advanced products and systems based in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.


Teamexpat’s area of ​​focus is software development, testing and integration of lithography systems in the semiconductor industry. These systems use ultraviolet light to print tiny patterns on semiconductor materials that define the performance of microchips.

Teamexpat’s team of software experts joins Accenture’s digital engineering team in the Netherlands. Their built-in software engineering expertise will strengthen the capabilities of Accenture’s intelligent, connected products for clients in the semiconductor and other discrete manufacturing industries. Teamexpat was established in 2014.
