Asus debuts Copilot+ on PC – Gadget

Asus has announced a new generation of AI-powered computers with the launch of Asus Vivobook S 15 (S5507). Powered by the SnapdragonX Elite processor, the device is the company’s first Copilot+ PC with Windows AI features and a collection of exclusive Asus AI applications.

“As Asus embarks on this journey, marked by the launch of our first AI-powered PC, we stand at the beginning of a new era of personal computing,” said Asus co-CEO SY Hsu. “The launch of our first Snapdragon X Elite-powered Asus Copilot+ PC is an important milestone for us, and we believe these devices are the future of consumer computing and will drastically change the way we work, learn, create and play. “

The event featured speakers from Microsoft and Qualcomm Technologies, following on from an earlier event hosted by the former where Microsoft officially unveiled the full range of new Windows PC experiences and standards needed to create the Asus Copilot+.

The device is equipped with the Snapdragon X Elite platform and a specially integrated Qualcomm Oryon processor that can be used for hardware-accelerated AI features as well as improved performance and efficiency.
