Taylor Swift Eras tour: The £18 gadget you need to take with you Ticketmaster says it needs all its fans

Swifties, the countdown is on, with just a few weeks left until Taylor Swift hits the UK stage in June this year. Before the gates of the Eras Tour 2024 opened, Ticketmaster reminded fans of one key item they should take with them.

In addition to verified tickets and ID, the site recommends all viewers bring a portable charger and cable. This is part of a list of must-haves to ensure fans don’t miss a moment of Midnights, Folklore and Evermore.

Ticketmaster’s list of 30 do’s and don’ts offers the ultimate pre-show checklist, warning fans to “be prepared if your phone batteries drain quickly.” They offer an affordable option from Argos, a slim pastel pink model that can be decorated with stick-on jewels and fits easily into your bag.

Priced at just £17.99, the Belkin model can charge three devices simultaneously, using two USB-A ports and one USB-C port, providing up to 15W of smartphone power. It’s also compatible with most phones, including Google, Apple, Samsung, Huawei and even iPads – although Ticketmaster advises against bringing tablets to the venue.

Alternatively, for those with an iPhone that supports magnetic wireless charging, Amazon is offering the sleek-looking Anker Magnetic wireless portable charger, reports the Liverpool Echo. There is currently a 30% off coupon available, reducing the price at checkout from £39.99 to £27.99.

For those who haven’t purchased tickets yet, it’s worth looking into resale sites. It’s worth visiting the Ticketmaster sales page regularly. This platform allows fans who purchased tickets during the main sale to resell them, which can be identified by the purple random resale icon. However, Viagogo is selling Eras Tour tickets for shows across Europe and the UK, and some shows still have hundreds of tickets marked as available.

At the time of writing, the cheapest tickets to Liverpool’s Anfield Stadium cost around £385. Tickets in London will cost just over £400, but with ticket prices going up to £1,700, it’s great value. You can also still get tickets to her Cardiff show, with resale prices starting from just over £300.
