PPRO partners with Afterpay to offer US consumers a buy now, pay later solution.

PPRO, the leading local payments platform, today announced a partnership with buy now, pay later (BNPL) provider Afterpay. This will enable e-commerce merchants and payment service providers (PSPs) based in the US, Europe, China and Hong Kong to sell directly to US consumers using Afterpay.

BNPL is changing the way consumers shop in the United States. On Cyber ​​Monday 2023, BNPL usage rose to record levels, increasing 42.5% compared to the previous year. Consumers are choosing BNPL because they want more flexibility, which in turn increases average order value for merchants because consumers can spread the cost of their purchases over time.
