Department of Justice files wide-ranging antitrust lawsuit against Live Nation

The Justice Department filed an antitrust lawsuit Thursday against Ticketmaster and its parent company Live Nation, accusing the concert giant of running an illegal monopoly and inflating prices. The lawsuit seeking to break up Live Nation also accuses him of retaliating against venues that partner with rivals and blocking venues from using other ticket sales outlets.
