The French government is investing in Cross River agriculture and tourism

French investors and economic experts have expressed their willingness to invest in the agriculture and tourism sectors of Cross River State.

The Head of the Nigeria-Ghana Regional Economic Department of the French Embassy, ​​Florent Mangin, revealed the country’s intentions while leading a team during a courtesy visit to the Deputy Governor of the state, Peter Odey, in Calabar.

Mangin said the French business community was keen to collaborate with the Cross River State government in key sectors and undertake infrastructure projects.

He emphasized that cooperation is aimed at strengthening the economic growth and development of the country.

Mangin expressed gratitude to the Cross River State Government for the warm hospitality extended to him and his companions through relevant government agencies since their arrival in the state.

Welcoming the French delegation, the Deputy Governor emphasized the national government’s readiness to cooperate with France and other non-state actors to support economic development.
