Building on the reach of entries from previous years, last year the Real Media Awards launched a new ‘Packaging, Brand Activation and Labels’ award covering the packaging, labels and large format sectors, along with ‘Loyalty Program of the Year’ and ‘Data-Driven Campaigns’ ” that add depth to the postal sector while retaining a category for charity mail and fundraising as a specialization.

The 2024 Real Media Awards will continue with major award categories including: Brand of the Year; Agency of the Year; Top Emerging Talent and Top Emerging Designer – all of these coveted awards recognize finalists and winners from across the industry.

The Real Media Awards celebrate all things print, marketing and brand, and recognize performance, craftsmanship, creativity and innovation as arguably the industry’s most prestigious event of the year. From brochures to printed materials, catalogs and magazines, real estate portfolios to packaging, point of sale and direct mail, product signage and labels, the Real Media Awards are known for celebrating the achievements of printers and customers together.

“The Real Media Awards are an opportunity for our industry to shine a spotlight on our clients and celebrate the campaigns they have commissioned from our members. This evening is filled with customers, printers and suppliers coming together to celebrate the work they have done together. What better sales event for your customer than to reward him and your success together?” commented Kellie Northwood, CEO of the Visual Media Association.

The event will take place on Friday 18 October at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Center in Melbourne’s South Wharf and this year’s Real Media Awards theme is ’70s Retro’. in recognition of the longevity, importance and engagement of visual media channels.

“I love it when customers come in and contact them to let them know that customers have joined us on their behalf. While this is fun, I encourage our members and the industry to get in front of their clients to ensure they feel recognized and valued. Each year we see more and more participants tell us their success stories, the journey their campaigns have taken and the results they have achieved with our services. It’s great to see marketing success in practice and we look forward to celebrating your success together,” concluded Northwood.
