China’s Prime Minister chairs the executive meeting of the State Council on Xinhua

BEIJING, May 24 (Xinhua) — China’s Premier Li Qiang chaired the executive meeting of the State Council on Friday to hear a report on the work of the administrative reconsideration.

During the meeting, opinions were also discussed and adopted on the expansion of cross-border e-commerce exports and progress in the construction of foreign warehouses.

He called for efforts to diligently implement the recently amended Administrative Reconsideration Act and for an immediate review of its implementing regulations.

As stated at the meeting, actions should be taken to increase the convenience of people undergoing administrative case reconsideration and to continuously improve the efficiency and credibility of administrative case reconsideration work.

She also drew attention to the role that the development of new forms of foreign trade, such as cross-border e-commerce and overseas warehousing, plays in optimizing the structure and stabilizing the scale of foreign trade.

Measures should be taken to actively cultivate cross-border e-commerce business entities, encourage local governments to support traditional foreign trade enterprises in the development of cross-border e-commerce based on unique local advantages, and strengthen talent training in this field, according to the meeting.

She also stressed the importance of increasing financial support, accelerating the construction of related infrastructure and logistics systems, and enabling better development of the upstream and downstream industrial chain.
