Skyhigh Security announces new management appointments

SAN JOSE, Calif. — Skyhigh Security today announced the appointment of Ken Schock as its new chief revenue officer (CRO). Schock, an industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience growing revenue and scaling global sales teams, will lead the company’s revenue generation strategies and lead its expansion into the global market.

In addition to welcoming Schock, Skyhigh Security is pleased to announce the promotion of Thyagi Vasudevan to Executive Vice President of Product.

Schock joined Skyhigh Security recently from Oomnitz as CRO, where he was responsible for leading a high-performing sales team. Prior to joining Oomnitz, Schock held CRO positions at AttackIQ and Snow Software, as well as senior sales and management positions at industry-leading companies such as HP, BMC Software, VMware and Splunk. Schock holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from California State University, Chico.

Vasudevan was previously vice president of product at Skyhigh Security and will now serve as a member of the company’s senior management team. He will play a key role in creating the company’s product vision, strategy, roadmap and marketing activities. He has over 25 years of experience in the high-tech industry, specializing in management and product development. Prior to joining McAfee through the acquisition of Skyhigh Networks, he was Chief Product Officer for Oracle’s Content Management business. He also held various positions at Cisco Webex and Yahoo!. Vasudevan holds an MBA in Marketing Entrepreneurship and Finance from Santa Clara University and a BTech in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
