Because the waiting continues Choice As season four streamed and premiered at home, some viewers of the Bible-based series began to question the studio’s motives and even called for a boycott.

For example, on X (formerly Twitter), a person blamed the historical drama for stalling Season 4 “because you want more money:”

“Where is season 4? After funding it with donations, do you hold it up from release because you want more money? You say it’s a good game, but the love of money spoils #BoycottChosen.”

Choice it actually started as a crowdfunded project, and while it’s distributed by Lionsgate, it still operates independently of the typical studio system.

This fact, combined with the series’ acclaim and current 770 million episode views, makes the series an anomaly in the entertainment industry.

But even more unconventional is the fact that Choice is designed to be free and allows you to stream it for free in an ad-free app.

Since showrunner and director Dallas Jenkins announced the delay of season four, he has been keeping fans and followers updated via livestream with the latest news about “four to seven weeks” release schedule.

Choice actually addressed these efforts at transparency in responding to allegations of corruption at X by addressing them “videos and information for a more accurate picture:”

“We are sorry that the sources you heard from lacked context and clarity. We hope you will consider watching our videos and information to get a more accurate picture of the situation.”

Explaining the decisions of the Chosen

Meet with someone, Choice did not disclose details of the ongoing legal dispute.

However, the period drama is believed to be subject to arbitration with Angel Studios, the previous distributor.

What appears to confuse the public and may fuel false allegations is true Choiceinterest in theatrical releases and new streaming platforms (like Disney+), all while being supported by donations.

The reason for this is twofold.

First, the multi-season series has no studio funding, but still needs revenue to reach its seven-season goal.

The second reason was explained by ChoiceExecutive producer Derral Eves, who said it was: “about how the program impacts people where they are.”

Plus, every time a show hits a new platform, he’s noticed that they see “a new uprising of people learning about the program.”

As further proof that delay has nothing to do with “love of money” Season 4 Choice it’s still expected to be streamed for free on the series’ app and then made available on Peacock, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ and more.

Expect a Season 4 streaming release date to be announced anytime now.

Seasons 1-3 Choice are available on Amazon Prime Video, Peacock, Hulu, Disney+ and free Choice app.
