Tata Power seeks $1 billion loan for renewable energy projects: report

Tata Power plans to raise up to $1 billion (around ₹8,306 crore) for its renewable energy projects, Bloomberg reports. The company is in talks with several lenders including State Bank of India, IndusInd Bank, Axis Bank and ICICI Bank for the loan, the report added. If successful, it will reportedly be India’s largest domestic currency loan this year.
