Drupa 2024 announcement: Dalim Software – Fujifilm


Drupa 2024 returns after eight long years and will be held in Dusseldorf, Germany from May 28 to June 7. In this special series, PrintWeek presents the best exhibitors worth paying attention to at the fair.

Dalim software (hall 16/A40 and hall 7a/D01)
Dalim will showcase its next-generation platform, including its Dalim ES and Dalim Twist products. Dalim’s new software platform is built on a unique platform featuring what Dalim calls its future-proof Mach architecture. The software is designed with highly flexible solutions that offer intuitive operation and advanced automation capabilities, allowing companies to focus on their core business offerings while expanding their capabilities. Duplo (hall 6/A31, A31-2)
Duplo, a leading manufacturer of printing and finishing equipment, has introduced its newest iSaddle Senshi saddle stitching system. The set will be presented at Drupa.
This device is intended for publishing, marketing and commercial printing applications. Equipped with comprehensive automation, it easily handles complex tasks and short series. Strong stitching ensures durability and the flat-to-finished book production speed of up to 5,050 A5 booklets per hour is unmatched.
With iSaddle Senshi, Duplo has raised the bar in terms of productivity and efficiency.

Durst will present a large-format P5 SMP (super multi pass) machine with increased capacity to five million m2 per year; and a new, wide water system for printing on corrugated cardboard.

The digital printing specialist also announced the next stage of cooperation with Omet – KJet, which will debut at Drupa. The launch of KJet follows the announcement at Labelexpo in Brussels of the expansion of the hybrid development partnership between the two organizations beyond the KJet platform.

Enfocus (hall 8B/A12)
Enfocus (part of the Veralto Group) will showcase its suite of automation software solutions, including its latest innovation, Enfocus Review, an online PDF checking solution. The company’s offer will also include other solutions, such as Switch, Griffin, Phoenix and PitStop. Additionally, Enfocus will showcase an exciting vision for the future of its print automation software solutions in the Innovation Lab, where it will work with its partners to demonstrate an integrated technology ecosystem. With a commitment to releasing feature enhancements three times a year, Drupa attendees will have the chance to see the latest versions of Enfocus software first-hand.

Must see: Epson (hall 5/D20)
Epson’s newest industrial printhead, the D3000, is designed for water-based and UV ink applications. It is characterized by high speed, single-pass, 1200 dpi resolution with recirculation at the nozzle level. It is suited to a range of applications such as flexible and corrugated packaging, folding cartons, labels, textiles and decorations.

Epson’s 64-inch print format includes replaceable printheads, improved environmental standards and easier-to-use features. Their new industrial SurePress labeling concept is designed for water-based and UV ink labeling machines. Their new direct-to-fabric printer, the Monna Lisa 13000, integrates pre- and post-processing and is an affordable single-step printer with a smaller footprint.

At Drupa, Epson will present its latest advanced SureColor F10000 sublimation printer. This printer offers a capacity of up to 255 m2/h, 10 liters of hot-swappable inks (LcLm/FyFp) and self-replaceable parts for easy maintenance. The new printer is equipped with an optional 300 kg jumbo roll (previously 60 kg), ensuring continuous production and minimal machine downtime.

The offer will also include Epson printers designed for the personalization and micro-production markets, including the hybrid DTG/DTFilm SureColor F100, the A4 UV SureColor V1000 flatbed, the A3 UV SureColor V2000 flatbed and the new SureColor F2200 microproduction.

The range of mini-labs (D1000, D500) and smaller sublimation printers (SureColor F500 and F100) provide a range of technologies that can be used on a wide range of substrates in the personalization market and can be easily placed in small offices and offices. tight commercial spaces.

EyeC (hall 14/D60)
EyeC will be showcasing its latest range of automated quality control solutions at the upcoming Drupa 2024. EyeC Proofiler Content will be introduced, designed to automate quality control of text, graphics and barcodes in packaging image files. Fiery (hall 8B/B10)
Fiery’s Drupa 2024 showcase will feature the latest range of advanced digital printing solutions. One of the highlights of the presentation will be the new Fiery Color Profiler Suite, designed to simplify color management and streamline the printing process. Additionally, the company will showcase the new Fiery Command WorkStation, designed to simplify print job management and streamline prep workflows. Another key highlight of Fiery’s presentation will be the new Fiery DFE platform, which provides businesses with a scalable, flexible and reliable digital printing solution. Frontline.io (Hall 9 / D04)
Israel-based Frontline.io, which offers a SaaS platform, will demonstrate AR (augmented reality), VR (virtual reality) and MR (mixed reality) technology that will enable the creation of highly accurate, interactive digital twins that can solve some of the most pressing problems related to training and support services for the world’s leading equipment manufacturers. These digital twins reduce the need to travel and check real systems, significantly improving productivity, reducing costs and increasing efficiency for operators, service engineers and trainers. Digital twins powered by Frontline.io have already been adopted by industry leaders such as HP, Landa Digital Printing and Bobst, who will demonstrate the benefits of this technology to customers and potential customers at their booths. Frontline.io claims that its users report a 50% reduction in training costs and a 15% increase in productivity. The company’s chief operating officer is a former executive from HP Indigo, Landa Digital Printing and Scodix.

Visitors to the Fujifilm stand can check out the Jet Press 750S and Revoria Press GC12500 presses, which offer print quality and paper versatility. Additionally, the two new mid-range production printers will be based on the Revoria Press PC1120.

New process-free offset printing plates and DX solutions for automation and streamlining with workflow software will be showcased. The recently launched Jet Press FP790, which brings innovation to the flexible packaging printing process, will also be seen in action.

Fujifilm will introduce Aquafuze technology – a new water-based ink that prioritizes safety and the environment – ​​and the RxD series, which enables pigment dispersion with high stability in the face of a variety of digitalization-induced ink formulations.
