Vice President of UML Poudel – Radio Nepal

Kathmandu, May 26:

CPN Vice-Chairman (UML) and former Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel opined that the government’s policies and programs will pave the way for continuation of derailed development projects in the country.

In a speech at the House of Representatives (HoR) meeting scheduled for today to discuss the government’s policies and programs, lawmaker Poudel argued that the policies and programs have created positive vibes, breaking the pessimism that has emerged in the country.

“Policies and programs are aimed at accelerating the pace of physical and human development of the country. He said: “Great importance was attached to protecting national self-esteem and a partnership program for the joint growth of production and employment was introduced.”

The opposition party disrupts the House proceedings, demanding the establishment of a parliamentary commission of inquiry into the embezzlement of funds by cooperatives.

However, as per constitutional provisions, since the budget is presented on Jestha 15 every year, there are times when policies and programs should be passed before that date.
