ONE PIECE Silvers Rayleigh card game

Every time a new set of ONE PIECE card games is released, the question that arises in everyone’s mind is inevitably the same: “What card will be rare in the Manga version?” Manga Rare cards are the rarest of all – the cards are named so because they feature panels from the One Piece manga in the background. In the case of the recently released Two Legends (OP-08), that honor went to the Silvers Rayleigh card.

Rayleigh, nicknamed “The Dark King”, is one of two characters referenced in the title of this set – the other is Edward Newgate. In One Piece canon, Rayleigh was previously Gol D. Roger’s right-hand man, before later mentoring main character Monkey D. Luffy in the use of Haki, an otherworldly power that enhances an individual’s combat abilities.

In addition to the extreme rarity of this Secret Rare Special (SEC-SP) card, the holofil covering the card provides a ghost-like effect that adds a unique visual effect that is most eye-catching to the set. As with other Manga rarities, it is expected that demand for this card will remain high – especially in the period immediately following the set’s release.

This card has not yet been released in English.
