REVIEW – I have become a huge fan of electric bikes and love testing different models and styles. having an electric bike that I can throw in the back of my truck and have access to it anytime is a big plus. I also want one that is pleasant to drive and has adequate power. Enter the Hiboy C1 foldable electric bike.

Design and features

• 3 modes: From electric-only, normal or pedal-assist, when you’re in a hurry to get to work, don’t hesitate to use pedal-assist only mode. If you want to enjoy your journey home, you can choose any mode.
• Hassle-free charging: Charging is very simple thanks to the replaceable battery, which allows you to charge it at home or in the office. You no longer have to look for a working charging station. Just take it to the office and plug it in. After work, unplug it, put it back on the bike and ride home.

The Hiboy C1 Folding Electric Bike is a small and compact electric bike with a foldable handle. It includes small rituals, a pleasant sitting position, a replaceable battery, a nice bell and a simple one-button display. It also has a small but stable rear wheel stand, exposed chain and a key lock under the frame. There are also lights at the front and rear. The companion app can control the spotlight, modes and power lock.

Assembly, installation, configuration

The Hiboy C1 foldable electric bike is easy to assemble and the only parts that need to be installed are the rear fender, pedals and seat. Here are some snapshots of my assembly process:

Efficiency

When I assembled the Hiboy C1 foldable electric bike, the first thing I did was charge the bike.

The display is nice and simple and has only one button to control. I turned it on and then drove around testing the modes.

App:

The accompanying Hiboy app allows you to control the headlight, modes, and track speed and distance, etc.

The Hiboy C1 foldable electric bike is a pleasure to ride. it is light but stable and very comfortable. Whether you’re using pedal assist or full throttle, it has even more than enough power for a 200- to 250-pound person. The headlight is bright and the flashing tail light is a nice safety feature. It’s easy to remove the battery to charge it, but it’s even easier to leave it in and plug in the bike. The only thing I’m not a fan of is the key lock that is located at the bottom of the frame. I find it awkward. I really like the rear kickstand that keeps the bike firmly in place. The ability to lock the bike’s display and controls via the app is also great.

Final thoughts

The Hiboy C1 Folding Electric Bike is a fun bike that is a lot more fun to ride than I expected. It’s fast enough, the saddle and seating position are comfortable, and I wouldn’t have a problem with it on a relatively long commute. Well done!!
