Redmi K80 Pro alleged leak of key specifications reveals 2K OLED screen, Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and more

Today, a Digital Chat Station insider took to Weibo to share the key specifications of the mystery smartphone. In the comments below the post, the tipster said that he might be referring to a phone from the “sub-series”, which sparked rumors that he was referring to the Redmi K80 Pro. Here are the leaked specifications of the alleged device.

The leak suggests that the current engineering prototype of the alleged Redmi K80 Pro has a flat OLED panel that offers 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood of the device there is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset and a 5500 mAh battery. The phone will offer fast charging with a power of 120 W. The leaker did not mention anything else about the device.

According to previous reports, the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro will have a 2K OLED display, a metal center frame and a glass back. Most likely, both devices will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and 8 Gen 3 chipsets, respectively.

Currently, there is no information about the release date of the Redmi K80 series. Speculations suggest that Xiaomi plans to unveil the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro in China in October. It is therefore likely that the K80 series may make its official debut on the domestic market in November.
