Vivo teases the Watch GT and showcases the camera capabilities of the Vivo S19 series ahead of its May 30 launch in China

Vivo’s upcoming Vivo S19 series will debut in China on May 30. Vivo is also planning to launch a new smartwatch called Vivo Watch GT. Recently, the company released its trailer and made it available for bookings in China. According to the teaser, the smartwatch will feature a square display with a functional crown. Users will be able to easily change the straps to different colors. The animations shown in the trailer say that the smartwatch will also come with features such as Bluetooth calling, an alarm and a heart rate sensor, and will also run on the BlueOS operating system. It has also been revealed that the smartphone will come with some AI features. In terms of battery life, it will last for 21 days. The rest of the information about this smartwatch remains a secret.

Vivo also detailed the camera specifications of the Vivo S19 series in a Weibo post. According to the post, the Vivo S19 Pro smartphone will offer studio-level portraits with full sharpness and has also shared photos taken with the phone at different sharpness levels. We already know that the Vivo S19 series smartphones will be equipped with Aura light, and the company in its post states that the Vivo S19 Pro will generate beautiful and glowing photos regardless of how close or far away. The Vivo S19 Pro smartphone will feature a dual main camera with an anti-shake system that Vivo claims will be as stable as Mount Tai. That’s not all, as Vivo S19 Pro will also feature a self-developed portrait algorithm that will deliver the best studio-quality portrait photos.

Much about this series is still a mystery, although its appearance and leaks have already revealed a lot. Recently, Vivo S19 and S19 Pro smartphones appeared on Geekbench, which revealed that the Vivo S19 smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor and the Vivo S19 Pro smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor. According to the leaked poster, the Vivo S19 smartphone may come with a dual camera setup at the back, including a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The Vivo S19 Pro smartphone may feature a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX921 sensor and OIS support. It can be supplemented with a 50 MP telephoto lens with a Sony IMX816 sensor with OIS support and 50x zoom capability, and an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor.
