The Bagmati Provincial Government presents policies and programs today

KATHMANDU, May 27: The Bagmati Provincial Government will present its policies and programs for the next financial year 2024/25 at the Provincial Assembly today.

Provincial Chief Minister Yadav Chandra Sharma will present the policies and programs to the provincial assembly at 3 p.m.

In the previous meeting of the provincial assembly, Jagannath Thapaliya, minister of economic affairs and planning of the Bagmati government, presented it to the provincial assembly.

Similarly, after the discussion, the assumptions and priorities of policies and programs for the upcoming financial year were adopted. Agriculture, tourism, education and employment promotion are given priority in the policies and programs that will be presented today.

Shalikram Jamkattel, Chief Minister of Bagmati Province, said policies and programs give the highest priority to agriculture, tourism, education and employment, which underpin the overall development and economy of the province.

He said that the government is ready to decide on the investment model and start creating an investment council.

The province is ready to prepare new programs and continue to act in accordance with the policies and programs of the provincial government.
