Vivo S19 sequence specifications revealed: massive battery, water resistance and excessive resolution screen

Vivo will launch S19 and S19 Pro smartphones with impressive features

Vivo is preparing to launch its latest S-sequence smartphones, the S19 and S19 Pro, on May 30 (internationally referred to as V-sequence in Taiwan). However, before the official release date, a large amount of detailed information about the upcoming gadgets was leaked, which slightly changed their specifications.

Starting with the regular model, the S19 will feature a 6.78-inch OLED flat screen with a 1.5K resolution and a maximum brightness of 4,500 nits. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, the phone will boast a large 6,000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support for exceptional battery life.

The S19’s digital camera setup includes a 50-megapixel front sensor with OIS for improved low-light performance, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and an innovative “mushy sun ring” feature that improves photo quality. The machine is additionally equipped with an infrared port, NFC for proximity means and IP64 mud and water resistance.

On the other hand, the S19 Pro will offer related screen specs, but with a curved design. It will most likely be powered by the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor, providing higher performance compared to the regular mannequin. The S19 Pro will run with a slightly smaller 5,500 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.

In terms of digital camera capabilities, the S19 Pro will feature a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with OIS. The telephoto lens is expected to support 50x digital zoom and will also have a mushy, delicate ring on the back.

The S19 Pro stands out for its durability and boasts spectacular IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dirt resistance. This means that the machine will likely be well protected against immersion in water, high-pressure water jets and exposure to high-temperature water.

Thanks to these leaked details, it is clear that the upcoming Vivo S19 and S19 Pro smartphones will offer a fascinating mix of performance, options and durability. Stay tuned for the official launch on May 30 to learn more about these exciting new gadgets.
