Travelsoft Expands Global Reach with Three New Acquisitions

Travel technology group Travelsoft announced the acquisition of three companies – TravelgateX, ATCORE Technology and Travel Connection Technology. These acquisitions elevate Travelsoft’s status as a global player in technology solutions for the leisure travel industry, whose technology currently processes transactions worth €35 billion annually.

Thanks to the integration of these companies, Travelsoft now employs a global team of 600 specialists and achieves recurring revenues of EUR 100 million per year. The group, which has expanded its presence to over 80 countries, serves 400 major clients and 1,000 travel service providers worldwide.

These acquisitions aim to address various challenges facing travel companies, destination management organizations (DMOs) and tourism boards. Each newly acquired company will retain its brand, management team and technology platform, ensuring continuity and autonomy within the group. Key leaders such as Pedro Camara and Sandra Chinappen of TravelgateX, Dave Cruickshank, Andy Lennon and Mike Wright of ATCORE Technology, and Alexandru Elisei of Travel Connection Technology will remain in their positions.

Founded in Paris in 2000, Travelsoft is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) travel company focused on simplifying the sales process of travel packages for tour operators and travel agencies by automating production and booking processes and managing marketing data. The company operates in over 80 countries under seven brands: Orchestra (France), Traffics (Germany and Eastern Europe), Travel Compositor (Spain, Southern Europe, LATAM and Asia), Eventiz Group (France), ATCORE Technology (Great Britain). ), TravelgateX (Spain) and Travel Connection Technology (Romania).

TravelgateX specializes in the B2B connectivity market, connecting buyers and sellers of hotel products via a single API. With over 1,000 partners and 50,000 bookings daily, TravelgateX facilitated transactions worth over €3.2 billion in 2023. The platform offers data management and analysis tools to optimize the booking process.

ATCORE Technology with a 35-year history provides booking platforms and multi-channel travel platforms such as ATCOM and Tigerbay. These platforms support over 23 million holidays and manage bookings worth over £20 billion a year for partners such as TUI and easyJet Vacations. Headquartered in Slough, UK, ATCORE employs approximately 200 people and is known for delivering scalable and effective solutions.

Travel Connection Technology offers software solutions for the travel industry, including analysis, strategic consulting, implementation and personalization. Its flagship product, Traviola, integrates contracting, inventory management, sales channels, reservation management and financial accounts, streamlining the way you manage and sell travel products.
