Google will introduce magical AI-powered editors on old pixel devices

Google has announced the AI-powered Magic Pixel feature on older Pixel 7 and Pixel 6 devices.

According to Indian expresspreviously, unique software features like Magic Pixel, Audio Magic Editor, and Video Boost were limited to the company’s latest flagship phones, the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 pro.

Magic Pixel is a set of numerous image editing and enhancement tools that allow users to move objects, remove parts of a photo, apply unique filters that look realistic, and also resize the image.

Google wrote about Magic Editor in a blog post: “This editor makes complex photo editing easier with simple and intuitive actions like repositioning an object or changing the sky from gray to blue. Now we’re expanding access to Magic Editor to all Pixel devices.”

Meanwhile, it seems that Google will limit the number of times a user can save an image or video. This is expected to allow for 10 photos and videos per month.

To use this feature without restrictions, users will need to purchase a Pixel 8 series device or subscribe to a Google One subscription with a capacity of 2 TB or more.

The new Magic Pixel feature is currently available on some Pixel 6 and 7 devices; however, reports suggest that Google is still rolling out the new feature, so it may take some time before it becomes visible on all devices.
