The winners of the Baltic Ecommerce Awards have been announced

Last Friday, the winners of the first edition of the Baltic Ecommerce Awards were announced. The main prize – the Grand Prix – was awarded to HackMotion. This Latvian company sells sports technologies.

This year, for the first time, the awards ceremony took place on a Baltic scale. Over the last three years, the organizers have awarded E-commerce Star awards to e-commerce companies in Latvia. The organizers have already announced that the new tradition of the Baltic Ecommerce Awards will be continued next year.

Many categories and special prizes

There were four categories awarded: gold, silver and bronze. Categories included new business, small business, medium business, and large business. Additionally, companies competed for 5 special prizes, with one winner selected in each category. Each winner was selected by a panel of judges composed of industry experts.

The most important award of the evening, the Grand Prix, went to Hackmotion. It is a seller of equipment and software that analyzes users’ golf shots. According to the company, it is already used by over 10,000 golfers and coaches around the world.

“An Extraordinary Event”

“This year’s e-commerce awards festival was an extraordinary event with over 100 e-commerce platforms from all the Baltic countries taking part. We have seen that these top platforms know how to use the right tools, create high-quality content and design websites effectively,” said Arnis Jekabsons, chairman of the jury and managing director at Element Digital.

“This year, the participants’ commitment to continuous improvement is encouraging.”

According to him, the competitive advantage of e-commerce in the Baltic countries is obvious. He also said competitive companies are well-positioned to excel in the international arena. “While there is still room for growth, particularly in the integration of artificial intelligence and automation into our online stores, the enthusiasm and commitment to continuous improvement shown by this year’s participants is truly encouraging.”
