The leaked specifications of the ASUS Rog Ally X show that it will be equipped with an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor

The release date for Asus’ next portable gaming console, ROG Ally Fans, including myself, are delighted with this launch, although a recent leak has already revealed many specifications.

The leak, courtesy of Videocardz, details the specifications of the new ROG Ally ” and an AMD Radeon™ graphics card (AMD RDNA™ 3, 12 CUs, up to 2.7 GHz, up to 8.6 teraflops). The screen size will also remain the same: a 7-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 500 nits peak brightness.

While the specs are similar to the ROG Ally 2023 Extreme, there are noticeable differences in design, battery, and RAM. Asus has redesigned the console to accommodate a larger 80W battery, and this time it will come with 24GB of LPDDR5(X)-7500 memory. Compared to ROG Ally 2023 Extreme, this means that ROG Ally X will be equipped with more RAM and a larger battery.

Thanks to the larger battery and increased RAM, the weight of ROG Ally X has increased to 678 g, which makes it 70 g heavier than ROG Ally 2023 Extreme. It will also be slightly thicker at 36.99 mm. Additionally, the USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2 port has been updated to USB Type-C 4, which supports DisplayPort 1.4 and Power Delivery 3.0.

Besides, the previous report showed the price at $799 and will come with 1TB of storage space.
