Archer-Daniels-Midland Results, No Revenue in Q2

Investing.com – Archer-Daniels-Midland on Thursday reported second-quarter earnings that were below analyst expectations and revenue was below forecasts.

The company reported earnings per share of $0.6 on revenue of $16.3 billion. Analysts polled by Investing.com expected EPS of $0.62 on revenue of $16.83 billion. This compared to EPS of $1.02 on revenue of $17.07 billion in the same period a year earlier. In the previous quarter, the company saw EPS of $0.46 on revenue of $15.3 billion.

On Tuesday, Procter & Gamble saw fourth-quarter EPS of $1.1 on revenue of $17.09 billion, compared to forecasts for EPS of $1.05 on revenue of $16.86 billion.

Coca-Cola’s July 23 earnings beat analyst expectations, with second-quarter EPS of $0.63 on revenue of $10 billion. Investing.com analysts expected EPS of $0.61 on revenue of $9.88 billion
