Gelson Fair

Invafreshplatform offering fresh food products, announces that Gelson’s Markets has expanded its cooperation to include production in stores and centralized kitchen service.

By leveraging the enhanced artificial intelligence capabilities of its Invafresh Fresh retail platform, Gelson’s says it was able to improve operational efficiency across its 27 full-service specialty grocery stores by reducing shrinkage, ensuring regulatory compliance and having a centralized repository of more than 4,700 recipes.

As such, it has strengthened its partnership with Invafresh by adding production planning and commissary solutions, providing visibility across its entire fresh food retail business, both in stores and in the central kitchen.

British outdoor clothing company Mountain Warehouseexpanded its cooperation with Metapack.

Already using Metapack Delivery Manager, Mountain Warehouse has added delivery options and intelligence to its business, investing in shipping infrastructure to provide customers with an exceptional e-commerce experience in the UK and Canada.

L’azurde jewelry company was launched on the BigCommerce platform.

With a presence in Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, L’azurde produces over 3,000 different jewelry models each year.

After dealing with performance and integration limitations in Magento, the company turned to BigCommerce and a composable commerce approach to scale as the company grew.

Since launching on BigCommerce, L’azurde says that in addition to overall sales growth and improved site uptime and stability, it has seen conversion rates double.

Erewhon

Legion technologiesworkforce management (WFM) specialist, works with Erewhon, an organic produce market in Southern California.

Erewhon will leverage Legion’s AI-powered WFM platform for automated scheduling, demand forecasting and frontline communication to improve work efficiency and deliver better experiences for hourly workers across the company.

Erewhon is an independent, family-owned market that strives to source healthy, clean and nutrient-dense produce. In addition to its food business, it also offers meals at an organic café and tonic bar.

Vapiano

Adyen announced cooperation with the Italian restaurant group Vapiano.

Adyen’s technology enables guests to customize their payment experience and enables them to order food on their phones using a digital wallet for the first time.

The announcement follows a pilot carried out at one of the group’s London branches, during which data analysis showed that 80% of orders were placed via the mobile ordering platform on customers’ phones.

While the pilot revealed a need for faster and more seamless ordering services, it highlighted the limited choice of payment options for customers.

Amazon and Lucky supermarkets

Amazon now offers two-hour grocery delivery from Lucky supermarkets in select cities in the San Francisco Bay Area.

An Amazon spokesperson told RTIH: “Our goal is to create a best-in-class grocery shopping experience – both in-store and online – where Amazon is the first choice for selection, value and convenience.”

“To that end, we’re partnering with third-party retailers that we know our customers already love, like Lucky, to offer more selection at great prices and delivery direct from our website.”

To celebrate the launch, Amazon is offering Prime members free shipping on their first three Lucky orders of $10 or more. Customers living in the Bay Area where Lucky delivery is available can shop on Amazon here.

Gritty Customer and Stuart

Brash Customeronline grocery shopping platform has partnered with Stuart to focus on local deliveries across the UK.

By integrating with Stuart’s platform, Snappy Shopper retailers can now enable delivery in as little as 60 minutes.

One of the key benefits of working with Stuart is access to a ground network of independent couriers. Using bicycles, mopeds and cars, they drive around the area from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., 364 days a year.

The connection also provides real-time tracking updates for both retailers and end customers. With live tracking via SMS and email, customers can stay updated on every step, from order confirmation to home delivery.
