Cacdac takes oath again after CA postponed his nomination

MANILA, Philippines — Interim Migrant Workers Affairs Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac was re-sworn in on Monday.

Cacdac’s appointment as head of the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) was postponed by the Commission on Appointments (CA) after SAGIP party-list MP Rodante Marcoleta submitted a request for suspension.

“I am interim Secretary of the Department of Migrant Workers with G. Hans Leo Cacdac with Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin as of May 27,” the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) announced.

(Mr. Hans Leo Cacdac was sworn in as interim secretary of the Department of Migrant Workers by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin on May 27.)

Cacdac was appointed in April and re-elected earlier in May.
