Samsung Galaxy F55 5G presented in India. Price, specifications, colors, more

Samsung on Monday launched the Galaxy F55 5G in India. The smartphone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC processor and a powerful 5000 mAh battery. The device comes with a 50-megapixel triple rear camera with an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is available in two color versions with vegan leather trim. Notably, the Galaxy F55 is touted in India as the lightest and thinnest vegan leather back phone in its segment.

Samsung Galaxy F55 5G is available in three memory configurations: 8GB + 128GB model priced at Rs 26,999, 8GB + 256GB model priced at Rs 29,999 and 12GB + 256GB model priced at Rs 32,999. The phone will be available in two colors: Apricot Crush and Raisin Black.

The Galaxy F55 will be available for pre-order from May 27 on the Flipkart online store.

Samsung Galaxy F55 5G specifications and features in India

The Samsung Galaxy F55 comes with One UI 6.1 based on Android 14. Samsung promises four major Android updates and five years of security patches for the device.

In terms of optics, the Samsung Galaxy F55 has a 50-megapixel primary rear sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel sensor. The front camera has a 50-megapixel lens.

Samsung Galaxy F55 5G has a 6.55-inch Super AMOLED Plus Full HD+ display (2400 x 1080 pixels) with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. The phone also supports expandable storage of up to 1TB via microSD card.
