Confluent ink first Australian distribution contract with NEXTGEN – Distribution – Software

Streaming software provider Confluent signed its first distribution agreement in Australia with the NEXTGEN Group.

The agreement provides more than 30 Australian NEXTGEN partners with access to Confluent’s product and service offering.

Under the agreement, the partnership will also expand to New Zealand, Singapore and Malaysia.

“With this agreement, Confluent is rapidly expanding its local partner ecosystem, which is a step that opens up new opportunities for partners and new service offerings for their customers,” said Kamal Brar, senior vice president, APAC, Confluent.

“Through our agreement with NEXTGEN, we are excited to bring the capabilities of our data streaming platform to help more companies unlock developer productivity, operate efficiently at scale, and enable more applications in real time. NEXTGEN brings a wealth of expertise and an exceptional database partner – we look forward to working with them to accelerate Confluent’s growth in Australia and beyond.”

Confluent’s solutions include the cloud-based Apache Kafka data streaming platform, which the company says enables organizations to stream, connect, process and manage data from across the enterprise.

“Our partnership with Confluent builds on our focus, capabilities and expertise in enterprise software,” said John Walters, group CEO at NEXTGEN Group.

“Confluent is a pioneer in data streaming technology, and we are proud to introduce its industry-leading solutions to more customers and enhance its offerings through our unique collaborative services model.”
